Jennifer Aniston Outright Reveals Her Weight
Jennifer Aniston has been a beauty icon since she debuted her layered "Rachel" cut onFriendsin the mid-'90s. Since then, she basically hasn't aged. Actually, the 45-year-old actress looks younger every year. However, in a new interview with Yahoo! Beauty editor and makeup mogul Bobbi Brown, Jen reveals that she's not thrilled with her current physique.
"These days, if I was being super picky,I would love to drop five pounds," she says. "That is just where I have always been really comfortable at about 110 to 113 pounds. But it is harder to get that down, at this age." It's quite rare for a celebrity to reveal her weight, and while we appreciate Jen's being so honest, sharing the number could turn it into a new standard, potentially causing people to set unrealistic weight-loss goals or feel bad about themselves if they can't meet it.
Jen does say that despite wishing she were a few pounds lighter, she still lets herself indulge. "I just had a bagel. I usually give myself bread on the weekends… There's a balance," she says.
And Jen remains adamant that she'd never go under the knife for any nipping or tucking, especially not on her face. "I think, what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves," she says. "I am grateful to learn from their mistakes, because I am not injecting sh–t into my face. I see them and my heart breaks. I think, 'Oh god if you only know how much older you look.' They are trying to stop the clock and all you can see is an insecure person who won't let themselves just age. I also have a fiancé who will put a gun to my head if I touch my face in any way."
Nice to know Justin Theroux loves her just the way she is.
What's more, Jen has plenty of older beauty role models. "I am fortunate enough to know women like Gloria Steinem, who I think is one of the most stunning women on the planet, and doesn't touch her face," Jen says. "Diane Keaton, Annette Bening, all of these fabulous fearless women who are flawless, they embrace it! You know to each their own, I don't judge it if you do it, but sometimes I wish I could beg the people I know, who I am very near and dear to, to not touch their face."
As for how she keeps looking great, Jen credits good genes, drinking lots of water, getting proper sleep, plenty of good creams, and not washing her hair too often.
Jen's humility is one of the zillion reasons we love her just the way she is.
